A photograph taken by a photographer reflects the photographer’s vision on the subject, while the photographer’s personality, his mind and his heart have an effect on the final images. Different persons see the same subject differently, which is nice since we are all humans and we are all different. In photography, people not only see differently, but they show the same subject differently based on individual perceptions of reality. That is why photography gives us a chance to express ourselves by showing something we cannot depict verbally. Let me take that chance ...


Galleries

The Galleries represent sets of images taken at particular locations or with a particular intention. Most of the galleries have a companian in watercolor. This means that the gallery consists of images with a watercolor filter applied to the original photograph; the final picture gives an illusion of watercolor painting. Panoramas are photographs constructed from multiple images taken of the same scene.


The gallery "Flowers of the Upper Peninsula" is a set of pictures of flowers one can discover in the UP. The photographs represent the beauty of Northern nature during spring and summer.


The gallery "Landscapes of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan" is a set of photographs taken all year round at different locations in the UP, mostly in the Keweenaw Peninsula.
